Yesterday I shot a load of Autumn looks ready for the change in season – who’s excited for Autumn by the way!? I think it’s my favourite season mainly because of fashion, autumn to me equals cosy coats and snuggly knits, plus the best TV shows seem to come back on in Autumn, have you noticed?
My first look from yesterday’s shoot is pretty casual, when I put the outfit together I was looking for something I could wear with my new Vans jacket and trainers. I also wanted the outfit to be comfy for all those of us heading back to uni over the next few weeks (boohoo)!
This beaut Vans ‘Thanks Coach’ jacket is actually the first piece of clothing I’ve bought from Vans and I picked it up in Rome with my leftover Euros. I knew it’d be a perfect transitional piece, I also think it’s great for festivals as it seems to be water resistant – I don’t think it could withstand a huge British downpour though. Also for any students who may be reading, Vans offer 20% off with Unidays (can I get a woop).
I’m also in love with these jeans which are Jamie jeans from Topshop, I went through a phase of buying nothing but Topshop Joni jeans, but I’ve gone off the Joni style recently and I was in desperate need of new black jeans! When I tried these Jamie ankle grazer jeans on with ripped knees I just loved them, they’ll be featured in more of my upcoming posts.
My next Autumn purchase was another Vans item, again I broke my Vans ‘virginity’ with my first pair of Vans trainers. These amazing silver/grey ‘Vans Embossed Stingray Old Skool Shoes‘ make black jeans feel a little less boring, especially teamed with a pair of sparkly socks!
I never usually wear hats, but I picked this hat up from Topshop before a festival I went to recently in Liverpool as the forecast was torrential rain ALL DAY. I’m so pleased with it I think it’ll become a staple for uni when my hair is beyond the point of dry shampoo – anyone else hate washing and drying their hair please?!
You can’t beat a plain cropped tee, they’re just a great ‘go to’ throw on piece. This little grey lovely is from Topshop, again…sorry but I just love Topshop sooooo much! I hope you enjoyed the first of my autumn looks, I can’t wait to share more with you all.
